Happiness

Cock-a-doodle-doo!!

We all want to be happy, but sometimes trying to find happiness can be a struggle. Often times we search for it in all the wrong places or ways, when the answer is much simpler – Jesus Christ.

"Happy are the people whose God is the Lord" Psalm 144:15. The Bible guides us to happiness through God's Word!

Ever heard of the Beatitudes? “Blessed are the poor in spirit…Blessed are the...? “Yes”, those Beatitudes.

Did you know that the word “blessed” in those verses of the Beatitudes means “Happy?” Oh, not the world’s definition of “happy”, such as those based on emotions or circumstances, but those based upon a relationship with Christ. A deep abiding joy IN SPITE of emotions or circumstances.

To be clear, the ONLY true way to this deep abiding happiness can be found in the guidelines you see in the Beatitudes. The truth that must be understood is that those guidelines come as part of a relationship with Him.

They are not automatic.

They cannot be faked.

They cannot be willed.

They flow out of a relationship with the King as a citizen of His Kingdom. A real citizen. Not a false one.

Reach deep and examine your life. Do as the Apostle Paul says and “examine yourself to see whether you are ‘truly’ in the faith or not.”

Honestly, do you see the Beatitudes flowing from your life? If not, how is your relationship with Christ, really? Please don't take any chances. This self-examination is needed by everyone.

Believe me, you can be the happiest person on the planet with Christ truly in your life. Without Him... never. For eternity.

Much Love,

Rooster

Beatitudes

"Blessed are the poor in spirit,

for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Blessed are they who mourn,

for they shall be comforted.

Blessed are the meek,

for they shall inherit the earth.

Blessed are they who hunger and thirst for righteousness,

for they shall be satisfied.

Blessed are the merciful,

for they shall obtain mercy.

Blessed are the pure of heart,

for they shall see God.

Blessed are the peacemakers,

for they shall be called children of God.

Blessed are they who are persecuted for the sake of righteousness,

for theirs is the kingdom of heaven."
